Terms of service
These terms apply when you buy from amrituals.com. Please read them before you place an order. They were last updated on 24 September 2026.
1. Who we are
This website is run by AM Rituals Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15109004. Our registered office is Studio 9, 50–54 St Paul's Square, Birmingham B3 1QS. We are not registered for VAT.
You can contact us by emailing info@amrituals.com. If we need to contact you, we'll use the email address or phone number you gave us with your order.
2. These terms and your rights
These terms are for customers buying as consumers. Nothing in them affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. Our acceptance of your order happens when we email you to say it has been dispatched, and that's when the contract between us is formed.
If we can't accept your order, for example because an item is unavailable, there's a mistake in the price or description, or we can't deliver to your address, we'll tell you and won't take payment. If you've already paid, we'll refund you in full.
4. Our products
Our products are made by hand, so each one is slightly different, and the pattern placement, stitching and colour may vary a little from the photos. The sizes we give are approximate.
Castor oil packs are for external use only. Please read the safety information on each product page and on our how to use page before using your pack. Our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. As we are not VAT registered, no VAT is charged. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
We take payment when you place your order. If we find that a price on our site is wrong, we'll contact you before dispatching your order to ask whether you want to continue at the correct price or cancel.
Orders delivered outside the UK may be charged import duties, taxes or handling fees by the destination country. These are not included in our prices and are payable by you.
6. Delivery
We deliver with Royal Mail tracked services. Delivery prices and estimated delivery times are set out in our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
If something outside our control delays your order, we'll let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay is significant, you can contact us to cancel and we'll refund you for anything you haven't received.
Your order becomes your responsibility once it has been delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Your right to cancel
You can change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive it. You don't have to give a reason. Our returns and refunds policy explains how to cancel, how to return items and when we'll refund you.
For hygiene reasons, sealed items such as castor oil can't be returned once the seal has been broken. If an item has been used beyond what's needed to inspect it, we may reduce your refund to reflect that.
8. If something is wrong with your order
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please email us with your order number and a photo of the problem. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the following rights:
- Within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the item and get a full refund.
- After 30 days and within 6 months, you can ask for a repair or replacement. If that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem, you can ask for a refund.
- After 6 months and up to 6 years, you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, but you may need to show the fault was there when the item was delivered.
For faulty items, we'll also refund the cost of sending the item back to us.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we don't meet these terms, we're responsible for any loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breaching your legal rights in relation to the products.
We only supply our products for personal use. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
10. Your personal information
We use your personal information only as set out in our privacy policy.
11. Other important terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest will continue to apply.
12. If you have a problem
If you're unhappy with anything, please email us at info@amrituals.com first and we'll do our best to put it right.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
