DIY Castor Oil Pack Kit with Hot Water Bottle
This box includes:
- DIY Castor Oil Pack Kit:
1 x 100% organic GOTS certified flannel: 27cm x 15cm, 4ply
1 x 100% organic GOTS certified terry towel: 30cm x 30cm
- 1x Heart Shaped Hot Water Bottle, Natural Rubber, 0.5L capacity.
- 1 spare 100% organic GOTS certified terry towel: 30cm x 30cm
The whole kit was steam disinfected before packing and can be safely used straight away.
How to use:
1st time use: After opening the Castor Oil DIY compress and placing on flat surface facing the beige 27cmx30cm flannel, pour about 2-3 tbsp of cold pressed, hexane free castor oil to the middle of the fabric. Leave it for about 10-15 minutes. After this time place the pack on the designated area of the body with the side saturated in the oil touching clean skin. Cover the compress with the beige terry towel and use another cotton towel (hand towel recommended) on top, this will ensure that the wrap will stay in place and prevent leaks.
Unwind and allow the castor pack to work its wonders for a duration of 30-60 minutes and gradually extend the time. Utilize this time for meditation or listening to soothing music.
Hot Water Bottle or Heat Pad can be placed in the spare pocket of the pack or on the top of the whole wrap to promote deeper penetration.
When using castor oil on a regular basis, add no more than 1-2 tbs of the castor oil each time.
The flannel will get more saturated each time after applying the oil.
The towelling flannel should be washed/replaced after 2-3 uses, it will help to avoid the oil staining the outline layers.
The beige flannel can stay saturated in the oil and refrigerated in the glass container when not in use for longer than 5 days.
Following the above steps are recommended to keep the Castor Oil DIY pack last longer.
The whole castor oil pack can be used repeatedly, if it appears clean and does not smell or became discoloured. If this occur the whole pack will need to be replaced.
